Basically, does the mask change shape like the adaptive armor the Toa Nuva use? Doesn’t seem right for it to be static while it changes the rest of the user’s body.

I couldn’t find anything explicitly confirming or denying whether the mask changes shape, but this quote compares the mask directly to the Adaptive Armor, which we know does change shape as a result of its adaptive powers.
