This guy was mainly inspired by me leveling a Demon Hunter in WoW (Great class btw). Anyways I did come up with a short backstory for this guy so here’s that:
“They destroyed everything I ever cared for. I’m simply returning the favour.”
Dreyman was once a Toa of fire who along with his small team, protected a village on the Northern Continent. However, one day a Makuta visited the village and decided to use its inhabitants for a sick experiment. The Makuta’s project ended up killing all of the Matoran and Dreyman’s brothers and sisters.
Dreyman became overcome with anger and a lust for revenge. He set off on his own to hunt down the Makuta. Once he found his enemy, he killed him in single combat; breaking the Toa code.
In addition, he found a way to absorb the powers of the fallen Makuta. However in the process he lost his control over fire and his ability to wear Kanohi masks.
From that day foward Dreyman had only one purpose left; kill every last Makuta.
@Matanui606 Just picture him without the demon legs, horns and wings with a color scheme of Metru red and orange.
@Maethorneth I agree with you that the colors are bland, but it’s supposed to serve the idea that he’s had his elemental energies drained. Also I was trying to avoid using CCBS in this moc because I wanted him to have a very “rough” feeling.
@BobtheTurtle607 Yeah the horns are a bit strange. I used the skull mask because Dreyman is supposed to actually not be wearing a mask at all and I think it looks better than using a plain metru head or something like that.
Cool design, but the colors are kinda boring. I also think some parts could stand to be cleaned up a bit. Maybe use some CCBS in the arms and legs. Otherwise good work.
the warglaives are beautiful. I never would’ve thought to use the antroz blades for it but it fits perfectly!
I still gotta level a DH
Great MOC too btw, not a huge fan of entirely silver/black MOCs as i feel like they need a 3rd color to make it pop a lil, but the build its self is great, and I can definitely see the DH/Illiderp inspiration
Despite the admittedly bland colour scheme, the shaping and choice of textures more than make up for it. It’s unique (can’t say that it’s one specific thing, like a demon) with a lot of personality though it could be just the poses ; I would add more trans orange and re-design the feet
