I am aware when Teridax was a vat of antidermis he caused those who approached him mental pain but I also remember it was more than just pain. What other things did he inflict on the Piraka minus Zaktan and in which book was this described in?

It was described in the second Voya Nui novel, and it described the other Piraka suffering from mental confusion, and also force blasts, when getting near the antidermis.
Do you mean this information is in Dark Destiny? If so which chapter, I could not find it.
