Eucalyptus and Pizza

I finally had access to my pieces, so, here are the promised bats, Eucalyptus and Pizza!

Eucalyptus (the green one) is somewhat of an outcast within bat society, mostly because everyone thinks she’s weird. She drinks nothing but tea and says that she “sees” visions in the tea dregs at the bottom of the cup. Oh yeah, did I mention she is completely blind? She was born blind, and her parents disowned her for it eventually. “But wait?” You might ask, “aren’t bats mostly blind anyway? So why would bat parents disown a blind child just for being blind?” And to that I say, idk. She certainly has no idea, her echolocation more than makes up for her lack of sight. Regardless, she was kicked out at 18 and now lives in the woods by herself. If you want some good old fashioned Witchery or fortune telling, she’s definitely the bat to find, or rather she’ll find you.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that she wears a green sweater vest all the time (hence the green body)

Pizza is a bit of a different story. She lived the life of luxury with her very rich family: She is t he spoiled daughter of the “king” and “queen” of the bats, or at least the closest thing to it. She was the princess, adored by all (under threat of beheading) and spoiled to no end, she could get just about anything she wanted. The only person who was allowed to disrespect her other than her parents was her fencing teacher, who taught her regardless of anything she said, whether it be complaints or threats. Her life was great, but it wouldn’t last. Another bat family decided to invade and conquer the the self proclaimed “king” and “queen” of the bats. The family took the royal family by surprise, slaughtering everyone in the palace accept for one: the fencing teacher. Luckily for Pizza, she had decided to sneak out with her secret boyfriend that night, so she’s wasn’t in the castle during the massacre. When she got back, she knew something wasn’t right, so she was carful when going in. She thought her parents had found out t that she had snuck out, so she snuck into their room via the rafters to see what they were talking about. When she saw both of their decapitated bodies, she nearly shouted in horror, but the fencing teacher managed to silence her before she could. They escaped the palace together and mourned while they trudged on as far away from the palace as possible. They met Eucalyptus in the forest, who took them into her bit and gave them shelter. They’ve been staying with her ever since.

I hope y’all like them! Looks like @Monopoly has some more work to do lol!

And yes, I am aware that Eucalyptus is missing a piece, but I couldn’t for the life of me find one.

Oh there’s more
They’re nice.
Also that lore is almost on the same level as Monopoly Lore™.

Those were the goals.

I’m actually really proud with how they turned out.

Also, the lore was somewhat last minute

Great work, and amazingly bizarre backstories that fit in perfectly with the rest of the Monopoly Lore™. That brings the bat count up to 15.

Awesome! I can’t wait to see your drawings of these two. After this has all calmed down, we should make a condensed topic with links to all the individual topics.

No need. Just use the batgirl tag Cordax created.

More bats? the lore is kinda funny but i’m not sure about that connection on the caped one’s sword with the gold piece and the solek blade.

There’s actually only minimal friction between the pieces, believe it or not. If it were really bad I wouldn’t have used it

Ok, cool.

I like their colours and their lore is pretty nice too.
