What are your favourite and least favourite animation studios, and among them, your favourite works?

Personally, I love GAINAX and the vast majority of their works, especially their earlier ones. GAINAX has always been a studio that has employed profound levels of talent and passion into their productions that they manage to be truly memorable.
Among their most notable animations, my favourites are Gurren Lagann, FLCL,
Evangelion, and Panty & Stocking.

Least favourite is without a doubt studio Shaft. Words fail to describe just how much a seething distaste I have for this studio and everything it does. Burn it. Burn it to the ground.

Rooster Teeth. It isn’t necessarily 100% animation, but I mean, look at Red vs. Blue. Or RWBY. Say what you will about them, but the animation is fantastic.

I love Pixar. They’re always shooting out original films with great stories and realistic characters.

Disney has been getting better, as well. But my gosh, I hate how much toys they make out of their popular films…
