I was just here with my 2 new beta fighting fish, and then I got the bright idea to make this topic
so
talk about fish
wild or domesticated
and also marine wildlife
like (Delicious) squid and crabs n stuff

All my fish are dead. And on that happy note, let the conversation BEGIN.
One word (+1)
mantis shrimp
sting rays are evil
RIP Steve
On the flipside
the shelled reptilians are my jam.
I don’t mind tentacled invertebrates and regular fish
But anyway how’s about them fish from the deep that autimatically either make you oh and aw or say “NOPE”?
I wanna eat em’ all. Pokemon!
That is my actual thoughts on this subject. Unless you want to talk about some marine biology. There are some weird things that live in the ocean
I like shrimp. Eating them, I mean.
Nubriachs slugs of the sea. Just weird.
Why. I mean. They look pretty and all. But you keep 'em in separate tanks. Which is kinda a waste of space.
Anyways, for some reason I like ugly fish. Beautiful, colourful fish are too mainstream
Stargazers
Frogfish
Red lipped Batfish
Lumpfish/Lumpsucker
I also fancy prehistoric armored fish
After doing a paper on the Atlantic torpedo ray, I have a new-found appreciation for electric rays.
what about this cute thing ?
Praise the Blob Fish!
Anyways, one should not hesitate to guess my favorite marine animal.

The mantis shrimp is the best animal ever
Also, while scuba diving, I have seen:
…Yup.
Mantis shrimps are my favorite animal, though.
I hope I never encounter the bobbit worm.

Those things are not okay.
As a little kid my faveorite marine animal was a sea sponge.
But now…Well my dad works at a seafood restaurant so I have a few love for crabs shrimp and squid
I am currently taking an amazing Marine Biology class. I get to learn some pretty interesting things.
Can you guys tell the difference between a Seal and a Sea Lion?
Also edited title.
Sea lions have ears.
Also, they look different.
Sea Lions also can walk on land with their flippers while Seals have to go on their bellies.
Sea Lions have longer whiskers, as well. They have larger “arm” flippers and swim using those while seals swim with their back flippers.
Seals also like to be in colder climates.
Yeah, those all are true. I was simply referring to a full trait that one has and the other doesn’t.
I got really close to a sea lion twice.
Once at the San Diego zoo, during a sow where I volunteered.
The other time, I was snorkeling and a little one swam right up to me. The guy with me tried to get a picture of it near me, but I freaked out because sea lions can be aggressive and you are also not supposed to touch them, making me swim away. All the picture was in the end was bubbles of me freaking out and kicking away.
I regret that to this day…
