I’ve been going through Galavant since it got added to Netflix. I’d been wanting to see it ever since I found out Alan Menken, who did the music for most of the 90s Disney cartoons, worked on the show. Turns out it’s just about everything I could have hoped for! And not only the music is great; the actors nail their parts, especially the evil king, and the writing does a surprisingly good job of making even minor characters three-dimensional. The show also makes fun of a lot of adventure/fantasy cliches. Any other fans out there?

I’ll admit the humor goes a bit far at times. That’s pretty much my only complaint with the show, though.

Supposedly, it’s been doing so well on Netflix that they’re considering picking it up for a new season. So I recommend watching it soon!
