Guardian of Ga-Wahi

Like an angel from heaven, the Toa of Water descended from the surface into the depths.

I figured I’d do the Mata first, but I may jump to random characters afterwards

This looks amazing! Well done.

As for who’s next, I highly recommend Onua.

You might guess, based on my avatar, that I’d say Pohatu. Well, you’d be wrong, as I second the motion for Onua.

I like how you included the light from the back of the eyestalk. The hooks are also a nice touch.

Well, conveniently, I was already doing some concept art for Onua’s mask…

The Gali design is amazing and it seems so will Onua.

I love it, the colors, the angle… These images feel so mysterious and a bit dark it’s great

Thanks for the feedback everyone!
@MistikaFan That’d probably be a bit far down the line, but maybe. I’m doing the Mata first.

I’m not much of an art critic, but this is super cool!

I vote for Kopaka next.

Thank you! I’m working on Onua at the moment, but either Kopaka or Pohatu will come afterwards.
On that note; I’m having trouble figuring out Onua’s drawing, so I have a question for everyone. Should it be gritty and action packed, or showcase his gentle side?

I’d say make Onua gentle, and then make Pohatu or Kopaka gritty.

What about Kopaka and Pohatu? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Wonderful colors! I love it. The gradient of the shade from the light source could probably be a bit smoother, but it still works.
