Greg reached a hand up from the spike in his leg and flipped Blake off
“Hey… Sky, do you remember me?” Leo asked.
Blake returned the favor. “Pig.” He told him
“ONI is the only reason humanity has made it this long in the war, have some respect” Greg growled
“I’m surprised ONI even knows the word of respect.”
“now is not the time to argue, we are in a city swarming with covenant and no way out. If you must fight then wait until we are out of the city to do it”
“She’s got a point.” Sarah said.
Kaitlynn nodded. “Why don’t we escape first, then you two can beat each other senseless how about that?” She suggested
“That’d be enjoyable to watch.” Samuel said.
“Sgt. Mariana Andrade.” She told Sky. “I am also new to this squad.”
Celosia, and her multiple types of alien blood turned a corner, down the street from the squad. She approached the squad in silence.
“Leo!” Sky cried, and hugged him. “It’s so nice to see a friendly face… When I didn’t see you on Miridem, I feared for the worst…” Sky said. “Nice to meet you, Mariana.” Sky added.
“Okay, ma’am…we shouldn’t get social yet, like the lady said. We’re stuck in enemy controlled territory and I’m sure they would love to use our heads as a f*cking targets. So we need to start moving.” Blake suggested
“Are you Sky?” Celosia asked coldly. She imeadietly turned to look behind her, scanning for Covenant.
“Nice to see you too.” Leo smiled.
“Yes, glad to meet you… Let’s try and escape the city. We won’t do much good down here, and it isn’t our job.” Sky said.
“If you don’t mind me asking, what exactly is our job here?” Kaitlynn asked
“certainly it is not sitting around waiting to be killed” Kyanna said climbing back into the ghost
Blake nodded to Kyanna comment. “You’re d*mn right about that.”
Greg began to stand up pain shooting through his leg
