Vanessa continued making a break for everything dear to her, only stopping to take a breather when she was several blocks away from the decimated tower.
“VANESSA!” Alex’s voice screamed over the comms.
“Yeah…I…I’m fine…” She panted.
“Where are you?”
Vanessa took a moment to take in her surroundings, looking for some kind of landmark.
“I…just took down a skyscraper…” She muttered.
“Alright” Alex replied, looking to the cloud of dust in the distance. “Stay there and keep a lookout”

Kyanna didn’t respond as she didn’t understand the joke, she breathed heavily as she finally made it to the bottom of the stairs, the lobby room was cleared to her amazement. She then left the building and headed towards the other tower with the others

Leo ran out of his building. “Over here.” He waved.
A loud creaking could be heard as his pod slid off the building and fell towards him. Leo ran as it crashed into the ground.

“I’m okay!” Leo said a bit shaken up as he wiped dust and debris off himself. His helmet had been twisted sideways.
“There’s Leo.” Samuel said.

Alex bolted down the street, nearly tripping several times as he remembered to keep an eye out for Covenant. His destination seemed to grow ever nearer before being interrupted by a guttural roar and several high pitched squeals. He ducked behind a building, keeping his AR at the ready as he peeked down the dark alleyway, seeing a Grunt mere inches away from his face. He instinctively opened fire, blowing it’s brains to confetti as the Brute fired off it’s Bruteshot, roaring yet again as the other Grunts began their charge.
“Could have given me a headstart” Alex muttered as he mowed down the Grunts, ducking plasma fire while the Brute charged just as he ran out of ammo. He quickly switched to his shotgun, shooting the hulking Covenant warrior in the face.

Not seeing any immediate threats as she peeked through a hole in the wall from inside the bar. Mariana got on the coms to try contacting any other friendly forces.
“This is Sgt. Andrade. I have crashed my pod into Kariba’s Bar & Restaurant, and I am holding here. Any other friendly forces in the area? Over.”
