As we know, Shadow Leeches are mutated Kraata, yet it’s never specified what substance causes them to undergo the transformation. I was thinking pit mutagen, seeing as Krika, Bitil, and Gorast were also mutated by the stuff.

Was just saying that, according to the Mutran Chronicles, Mutran made the Shadow Leeches long before any Makuta went to Karda Nui - so it’s extremely unlikely he’d have been using Pit Mutagen.
