Copy and paste the sprites to Paint and move them around.

I’d rather see you draw the comics yourself but do whatever you fancy.

I know you want to use paint
but Photoshop is a better option to remove the White around the sprite art
since the Background or Magic eraser tool are useful in the long run

I’d get GIMP(which is free) or photoshop(if you have that kind of cash)

Use paint.net. If you use paint, you are seriously limiting yourself.
