For me, geography has always been a huge passion of mine ever since I was in 1st grade (I’m in 8th now). I loved (and still love to) poring over atlases in my freetime, and for the longest time my primary goal was to succeed in the National Geographic GeoBee (but that got cancelled this year ).
So my question is:
How many of you like to study geography or just pore over maps?

I’m not sure how much of my love of geography comes from my love of maps, but I do enjoy studying it and the impact it has had on different cultures.

I used to be super into maps, at the last of around 2 or 3.
One of these days I want to see how much of the world map I can draw from memory.
I memorized all the capitals in like 1st grade lol
This has to be a blatant lie!

If that’s true, that’s super impressive. That’s almost 200 capitals, not including state/province capitals.
Also I like geography too, btw. I enjoy doodling maps of the world.
i was not joking by the way.

I always kinda thought I was better at geography than most people.
I guess I was wrong.

take pride in the fact that more than likely you’re better at geography than your family or school peers
