How many of you like to study geography?

For me, geography has always been a huge passion of mine ever since I was in 1st grade (I’m in 8th now). I loved (and still love to) poring over atlases in my freetime, and for the longest time my primary goal was to succeed in the National Geographic GeoBee (but that got cancelled this year :frowning:).

So my question is:

How many of you like to study geography or just pore over maps?

oh dear

I like geography.

I’m not sure how much of my love of geography comes from my love of maps, but I do enjoy studying it and the impact it has had on different cultures.

I used to be super into maps, at the last of around 2 or 3.

One of these days I want to see how much of the world map I can draw from memory.

I memorized all the capitals in like 1st grade lol

Of what?

of the world

Dang.

Like … dang.

This has to be a blatant lie!

i can name 193 of 196 countries according to this quiz

If that’s true, that’s super impressive. That’s almost 200 capitals, not including state capitals.

take pride in the fact that more than likely you’re better at geography than your family or school peers
