To be honest, I never subscribe to channels because, if I actually care about a channel, I check it frequently. Usually daily. So the more I like a channel, the more often I check it.

Approximately 30-40 at the moment.

Though Youtube has a habit of subscribing me to random channels and unsubscribing me to others - apparently its a bug or something. So the number fluctuates.
