how great is the level of power that a G2 mask has?
we know that the protector masks have little power.
we know that the normal villager mask have no powers.
we know that the golden masks have very strong elemental powers.
but how much powers do the normal toa masks have in contrast to their golden versions?
and which is stronger: non-golden toa mask or drained-golden toa mask?
We have no idea, the only possible example might be Pohatu’s sand tornado, but that could just be his weapons. there’s just no way of knowing what the masks do
honestly the real question is if the toa’s masks are place holder masks then why do they look exactly the same as the elemental masks which ekimu created? was ekimu somehow connected to the toa before they arrived on the island? how did he know the shape of the toa’s masks so that he could create elemental masks that looked exactly like them? or was it all coincidence and the toa just happened to have masks that looked exactly the same as the masks ekimu created years ago
maybe ekimu CREATED the toa…
What I’m curious about is if their “Toa Weapons” are controlling their respective element, not their Masks.
i think the masks only amplify or grant elemental powers while the weapons are controlling them
It seems that the Toa weapons can use the elements but I’d say that they are just used as the elemental weapons before they get the golden masks.
Examples:
Tahu: has flamethrower sword but when he gets his golden mask he can use fire without his flamethrower swords
Pohatu: has boomerangs with turbines which whip up sand in a tornado form but when he gets his golden weapons he no longer needs the boomerangs to make the tornado
I agree that it is something like Ninjago where they have elemental powers but the golden weapons inhanced them
