And here he is in a pic of him right after I got him a couple months ago:
This is easily the best titan set I’ve ever owned: Can’t wait to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of 2006 for Bionicle next year!!!

Don’t tell me 2006 was 20 years ago I don’t want to be reminded how old I am ![]()
Move along.
same! no cracks, and 100% complete! Glad i got him before the prices went through the roof…
Did you mirror the thighs on purpose? I think it looks a little odd like that.
Brutaka is definitely one of my favorites, it’s an awesome design all around and the color scheme is great. The arms feel a little skinny compared to the rest, but it still works. I got him at a flea market for 10€ earlier this year (missing the blades), definitely one of my best finds!
I’m also curious how long it’ll take this time until you get banned again.
i was in a flea market last week and i was suprised at the crazy prices. someone one wanted 10$ for an incomplete huki mahri, am i unaware of the market getting way worse? i haven’t really been buying bionicle in the last year and a half
Bionicle prices definitely went up during the pandemic, but I haven’t noticed any changes lately. Flea markets are generally a hit or miss, you might be lucky - there’s people who don’t know what their things are worth, or just want to get rid of it quickly, while at the same time there’s those who think they have literal gold for sale when it really isn’t (I’ve seen several Toa Mata part amalgations being offered for 30€ and upwards lol)
In your case, it was probably someone who heard that Bionicles went up in value and thought it applied to everything Bionicle. My Brutaka was definitely a very lucky find, doesn’t happen very often.
Online the pricing situation is different, most people seem to bother checking what it’s worth before making a listing (not all, but great deals usually get snagged up quickly). Part lots are the way to go, I’ve found many great treasures!
