When Bionicle was in it’s prime time, LEGO brought in music for the line, including some big names like “The All American Rejects” and “Daughtry” until “Cryoshell” was created. They created “Creeping In My Soul”, “Gravity Huts”, “Closer To The Truth”, and the final song for the line “Bye Bye Babylon”. When Ninjago was made, LEGO recruited “The Fold” to create songs for the franchise. Now that we know BIONICLE is coming back, who will make the music? I’ve asked some LEGO Store employees but they don’t know. So do you think LEGO will go back to “Cryoshell”, utilize their partnership with “The Fold”, make a new band, use an already existing band, or something else not listed here? I look forward to hear what you guys have to say. Discuss.
I can only hope LEGO would go back to Cryoshell, but I imagine (and wish) they will go with a more orchestral route for the Nuvaverse.
I bet having Cryoshell come back to Bionicle would be a dream-come-true to most fans, like me. But I’d be ok if Lego was to introduce a new band to the line.
Whatever the music is, I want it to not be cheesy, even if it means not having lyrics at all.
Wouldn’t surprise me. Cryoshell has made music for the hero factory specials so LEGO having them do music for Bionicle wouldn’t surprise me. I really hope they do. MNOG type music would be cool too.
Red Hot Chili Peppers.
'nuff said.
No pop music.
I feel whoever did the soundtrack of RWBY would fit G2 BIONICLE. I don’t know, maybe it’s just me.
If I would want anyone to do the music
either the fold, or cryoshell
odds are lego will continue their work with cryoshell, and work with the fold on bionicle,
meaning they could perform together and sound a lot like Kamen Rider fourze’s soundtrack
here’s an example.
with male/female harmony, which would be awesome.
(I can dream can’t I?)
Hmm, I think a Fourze sound would work well.
Giant Step and Cosmic Mind were both fantastic, IMO.
Very fitting of the fights that took place when they played, so if anything I would very much like for Lego to take that sorta direction.
That is to say, music almost tailored to fit a fight. Kamen Rider’s practiced this since, like…somewhere in the Heisei era. I recall Double Action was my first personal experience.
But then, this idea could backfire, I suppose, so I dunno. I suppose we’ll just wait and see.
imagine character specific songs like form songs,
one for each toa relating to their character and actions.
that would be cool.
but I’m not sure they’d shell out that kind of cash.
My money would be on the Fold or none at all.
Akon and Miley Cyrus
Is Cryoshell still around??
That is the next generation, combined with the first
I would pick Linkin Park or Skillet, and if that happened, I would have a wowsers in my trousers…
and there goes the transformers fans, screaming and swearing into the distance, excuse me as I go join them.
new singer, but yeah, they performed hero factories “breakout” and rerecorded gravity hurts,
they’re still around.
Not really a new singer, but a stand-in, because Christine Lorentzen was pregnant. I am pretty sure she is back now, and that they are re-recording their album with some new stuff.
I knew she was taking maternal leave, I just thought it would last longer.
I’m glad to hear she’s back.
I’m not into them for transformers lol I’ve just listened to them since I was like 2…
Roosterteeth does it all in house I believe. I highly doubt they will have any partnership with Lego. Especially not in music.
