I think improv is perhaps my favorite part of jazz because it’s so unique, and it makes the music engaging and different everytime. Music can be a form of expression, and I feel that is heightened when the music is dynamic and on-the-spot

Lmao dude this is great. I usually think ‘the lick’ is a super overused joke. I actually depped for a gig last night and the bass player wouldn’t stop playing it, which was super annoying. But this is awesome!
