I am aware of this. What I am saying is that when Vakama slowed himself down along with Makuta, his own thoughts were slowing down from his own perspective. This wouldn’t happen with Kapura’s ability.
Like I suggested in the analysis, I think this simply has to do with the Budhist-like aspect of the Art. It grants Kapura perseverance while he travels to his desired destination and maybe even guides him like a navigation and/or enables him to choose the most efficient path.
