A toa-shaped hole in the world that spreads fear and eerie calm wherever it goes. The Kravokah occupy strange dimensions and seem to follow a different set of physical laws than other beings in the Matoran Universe.
Like the Levokah and Gavokah, the Kravokah (also known as shades and shadow men) are an expression of raw elemental energy making up a physical entity, though with the Kravokah that definition starts to break down.
The Kravokah occupy a strange semi-real existence which challenges the minds of any that observe. Able to draw on the darkest aspects of the elemental weave, Kravokah are spirits of stasis and changelessness and carry darkness and deathly cold wherever they go.
Most Kravokah are created by powerful shadow-wielders such as the Kra-Nui Nivorn, Shadow Toa and some makuta, though since the makuta evolved the ability to create kraata the use of these spirit creatures has lessened greatly.
In the light, a kravokah is limited in what it can do. It becomes immensely more powerful the colder and darker its surroundings are. It is able to modify its density, from being as hard as protosteel to as formless as a shadow, and can pass through many kinds of matter that are considered “impenetrable”. A kravokah infiltrating a fortress can easily swim through its cold stone walls, but falters at the prospect of crossing an open, well-lit room.
A Kravokah guardian lies dormant in the darkened corridors of Korrothis’ Palace of Shadows.
So, here’s another elemental spirit MOC. This guy was the first of the three I’ve made (four if you count the Azalgor Crystals), way back in 2011.
He was originally meant to be a literal stickman designed to showcase weapon designs, but I realised weapons really weren’t the focus for me as a MOCer.
He was also an experiment in using a new (at the time) way of making joints by placing plates and pinholes together. I was going through a severe balljoint shortage at the time as 2011 was when I began keeping lots of MOCs built at once rather than scrapping them every other month.
Despite having only one balljoint (in its neck), this one’s possibly the best articulated MOC I ever made.
A guy on DeviantArt called DarkSideProductions (now no longer active) made the final picture for me.
Head design belongs to ShadowGear6335. Joint design sorta belongs to Cameron G, since he’s the guy who inspired me to start using it on EVERYTHING.
