Larry Niven and the N-Space Universe

Salutations, Mr. Farshtey.
I have come to wonder if you were a fan of or are familiar with the writings of the science-fiction writer Larry Niven.
His fictional universe known as “Known Space” or “N-Space” contains many highly awarded novels and short stories, and has a few noteworthy similarities to the Bionicle universe.
For instance, in N-Space, humans exposed to a certain symbiotic virus undergo a ‘Toa transformation,’ becoming Protectors. Protectors, like Toa, are physically superior to their parent species, are compelled to protect their parent species, bear striking physical differences, are asexual and immune to aging.
