For this concept i thought “what if the villages in le-wahi were based on the tall pillars in one of those chinese forests” and thats what i drew. Then i saw everyone elses concept of the floating aspect of wind/air so incorporated that into my sketch. Then i heard about the viking and medieval stuff from the podcast and my mind was like cool chinese lewa (terra-cotta lewa?).
