Lego Throughout My Life

I went back recently and looked at old pictures of me with legos. Take a look at how legos (and more importantly bionicles) shaped who I am as a person today.

##christmas

My second bionicle set, and one of the first lego sets I owned. For christmas my sister got Nokoma, and I got Nuju. We both loved them instantly. The first bionicle sets we got were ahkmou and ehrye.

Sorry to skip 2005. I couldn’t find any pictures from that year. I got more sets, and my interest in bionicle and lego grew.

Jeez, still from chrismas. I was spoiled back then.

#The Dark Ages

After the closing of the bionicle series, my interest in bionicle (and therefore lego) faded.

That is until I discovered a little site called bricklink.

2015

I had been disappointing with every birthday present until then, so in 2015 I just asked for money, and spend it on bricklink. I got tons of the old sets that I’d never owned, and some random ones throughout the series. This was also when bionicle was rebooted, re-inspiring my interest.

Later, I found this site, and my MOCs got better and better. Since then, Lego has become my hobby.

This song is fitting…

ignore the fma video

I always think of this song when I go back and look at myself with Lego.

This is awesome seeing the Lego sets you’ve gotten over the years!

Cool journey through time. I wish I had taken pictures (but they would be rather cringeworthy)

Always good to see the progress of entering lego.

Impressive.

Life passes us quickly, huh?

I would share Lego’s impact on my life, but that’s a MOCaversary thing more than anything…

Plus it’s more than likely quite boring

July 3rd, here we come…

That’s a nice reminiscence on memory lane.
I bet you had a wonderful time as a child!

Aw! That’s so sweet!

Pretty neat idea. :grinning:

I think we are the same person…
