Beam need alittle more work, animation is fine.

as @Square said, the animation is good, but the lightsaber itself just looks like a green stick.

This is alright. It certainly doesn’t look bad.

That being said, there are programs you can get (for free) that can do this better.

To be honest the FX were done kinda quickly, using Stop Motion Pro’s built in drawing tool.
