Okay, okay, why don’t you just try one and try to beat him? Wait, let me go edit the rules… second topic to do this…
Okay, maybe you should make sure the rules are foolproof before you set them?
No offense, but you shouldn’t need to edit the rules after you’ve started.
Probably some good advice, it’s fixed, go check it out.
I saw.
I just want to point out that he solved the second one two hours after it reached the time limit…
I think I’m done here (don’t have much more to say), but I just want to leave mentioning that you should think a lot of this through beforehand.
If it makes you feel better, I don’t have to play this for points. I just find these puzzles fun.
(also I did solve both of those within ten minutes of seeing it)
It’s fine, even if you didn’t it wouldn’t exactly matter. You will still earn the points, why don’t I give you a puzzle of your own @Hawkflight.
I try not to be too active on the boards - which is why I haven’t asked yet, I didn’t think both of us would be on at the same time.
If you’re on now, then sure. Try me.
Here it is. If a tiger has 10-13 stripes on the head, 4 on each leg, and 15-23 on the body, how many stripes can the tiger possibly have?
I have a feeling I’m missing something here… but anywhere between 41 and 52.
Sorry I messed it up, may I redo it for you?
I guess…?
Okay, if a tiger has 9-14 stripes on the head, 4 on each leg, 15-27 on the body, and 43- 60 stripes on the body, how many stripes are on the tail?
Assuming that #1 the number “15-27” refers to the torso and #2 the number “43-60” refers to the tiger skin as a whole, then at least 3, at most, 20.
Well done, good job, you have 3 points now.
This is just like standardized testing: I end up doing really well but doubt myself the whole way.
I’ll sign off for the night and see if anyone would like to catch up.
That was @Leoxandar 's question.
Oh. You replied to me so I just assumed…
It also doesn’t help that I went to sleep
Anybody want a test?
Sure.
