Makuta: The Future is History

My entry to the Rebrick Makuta contest.

I speedbuilt him in three days; finished on August 16. “Why August 16?” you ask.

Because DT had to go to college early and had 10 days of building time taken from him. I actually finished him the morning of August 16, when I departed for college. Except for his feet; I couldn’t finish his feet in time. Hence, the cropping.

The Mask of Ultimate Power has fused to Makuta’s face, and he has taken back the Mask of Control and smashed it into his chest (which now glows with the power of the mask). He only needs one more…

While in the shadow realm, he saw another version of himself that achieved greatness but was then struck down. Makuta vowed that it would not happen to him. In tribute to his alternate self, he remade his body in the other’s likeness. G2 skin on G1 body

Hope you like him!

Did you enter it before the deadline?

Also, I really like the MOC.

the chest looks way too bulky, the bayformers aesthetic with the head really dosen’t match the rest of the moc, and could we get some whole body shots that don’t crop the feet out???

@Joe Yes I did.

I tried to create his feet in LDD to send to my brother for him to build and then connect and photograph, but college occupied most of my time so I couldn’t. I had put off entering him because of this, but I submitted him the day before the contest ended.

@SammytheKat Bruh.

I was pressured for time (built in three days); the MOC is at home and I am not; his feet don’t exist; this is the only picture I took before I left home for college.

Edited for Double Post - Waj

(wait @Waj how was this a double post; I responded to Joe and then Sammythekat posted and then I posted again)

It doesn’t appear that way, it was infact a double post - Waj

(@Waj K; guess I clicked the wrong post to reply to and replied to myself by mistake.)

I like it. However I feel like it either needs more trans orange or the trans orange should have just been black.

The head looks cool.

I love the head. :smile:

Thank you! I tried to copy the MoUP, but I only wanted to work with parts that were available from constraction sets.
