Traditional Makuta or not, this is really cool. I like the idea of a non-humanoid form for Makuta.
the color scheme.
bright blue, mata red, gold, and white does not scream “evil”
at best, this could be a Crystal Serpent.

My favorite parts are the forked tongue and the cheek feather-things. (they look like feathers to me) This reminds me so much of the G1 Kanohi Dragon. Personally, I would have swapped out the gold Skull Mask on his nose for the Mask of Control, or make the head look more like the Mask of Control or Mask of Ultimate Power overall.
As a shapeshifter, I could definitely see Makuta taking on this form.

Although I fail to see how this is a makuta, I love it! This thing is amazing. It has such a fluid body structure.

Whoa. I don’t really think that allowing such modifications is the right thing to do. However, this moc is made of genuine lego pieces only, and none are modified either.
