Marlon originally comes from an island/village composed of only Po and Ga-Matoran. While an odd combo it worked out well for his village. The Ga-Matoran studying and inventing designs while the Po Matoran built them and added minor modifications where needed.
Marlon himself carried a distraction from his work. A love of adventure and exploration that cut into his skill and production. Luckily he was, while not the best carver, one who carried enough skill, and produced enough items that his adventurous ways were overlooked. The materials said adventures allowed him to use for decoration on his work also helped.

Personality: Marlon’s a friendly fellow, in no way naive or mistrusting but just… friendly. One who’s willing to greet near anyone with some level of cheer, but equally so willing to greet those who do manage to get on his bad side, a difficult feat for many, with any level of aggression.
Other Attributes: Marlon is highly adventurous, having spent enough time exploring his island that he has become quite skilled in the field. From discovering hidden materials, to identifying, and overcoming potentially lethal or lesser pitfalls.
He also has a mild fascination with Ga-Matoran, finding their work to carry a sort of beauty and intrigue to him, and being beyond impressed by their general knowledge and usual skill at learning and discovery. This later lead to him trading for minor medical training with a Ga-Matoran friend of his.
Weapons: Marlon owns a pair of decreased vibro knives. They operate by vibrating the blades, allowing them to more easily cut through objects. Due to their deceased power levels they’re only really good for carving and partial mining.
