A gen 2 take on Makuta Miserix. He is a smaller design than often depicted (Actually for fan-fiction reasons, this is shortly after shedding a shapshifted disguise.) The structure is based loosely on transmetal 2 megatron,
I was using a radiak mask until just recently, but a friend printed this Miserix mask off thingiverse for me, and I painted it to match. I’m going to see if I can get a resin printed version that’s a bit smoother at some point
The arms need a bit more work, the lack of dark red CCBS parts was kind of restrictive.

Very menacing! He does feel a bit more like Antroz or Icarax than Miserex, but, since he’s a shapeshifter, that’s sort of moot.

I like how his mask looks like Stinger’s battle mask in Transformers. It’s a more unique design that I haven’t seen utilized much in Bionicle designs.

Redesigned the wings, arms, and back. It makes him look a lot less like a phantoka. I opted for a skeletal or even tentacle like wing design, though the model was really struggling with it since a lot of the joints have cracked over the years.
The shoulder assembly and got adjusted as well, the original one was fiddly, this one positions the shoulder in a fixed point but causes the chest plate to occasionally pop off if it flexes too much
I’m switching to resin on the mask, should look a lot smoother when it’s done. I also switched back to the metru head, I ended up just cutting the stalk. and then used a sharpening stone and high grit sandpaper to smooth it down to look clean. The cut has been polished up to a glossy sheen
I don’t do this kind of thing often but I hate being stuck doing neon green with the official part. There are also no stupid colors of pin or axle anywhere on the model.
