MOC: Emuex V2 (Self-MOC)

No, this is not an Onua Mata revamp. Through the power known as Deus Ex Machina, my self MOC can turn into this guy, (it’s more of like they both are really cool and I don’t know which one I like better because the better one would normally be my go-to MOC and I don’t wanttoreplacemyselfmocand) just because. He is all black, like, that’s it. I decided to create him when I got an incomplete Darth Vader set (for more information, see here.), and thought, ‘these pieces are great for a custom MOC’. This guy, like my original self-MOC, has a very ‘original’ color scheme, but this time around, has a very custom build, and I had more experience. I made my first self-MOC when I was 11, and I made this guy when I was 14. The only non-custom things being his head and hands, due to lack of system parts. As you can see, I’ve only made one good sword, which is on my other self-MOC (man, this is going to be confusing.) It took way too many pics, (86, I must have been high or something) so I hope you like what you see.

In all seriousness, the MOC is very well filled out, and most, if not all the pieces work well together. The fact that it’s got no second colour makes it appear all the more solid. Great job!

Well the MOC and its design is pretty good, but it needs some highlights of some other colour.

Thanks guys!

Aside from it looking like Onua Mata, I actually prefer your first version. This MOC is good, but it lacks a secondary color. Your original had dark green and silver that blended well with the black. Also, you had the Volitak, which is one of my favorite masks. I like the Pakari even more, but the lack of a color scheme is what kills the MOC IMO.

I have to agree that the biggest issue on him is the dull color scheme, but at least it’s consistent?

Too consistent. :stuck_out_tongue:

I guess I got a little carried away with most of the parts being from one of the most black LEGO sets, as seen here.

Holy greebles batman!

Certainly. He is probably my most expensive MOC parts-wise, and it shows.

not my taste, but it’s not bad.

Holy crap that is an old joke, I’m surprised anyone remembers it. Good times, man, good times…

Edit: Added a new mask/face. This is one of my first times making a head, so it’s pretty bad, I was just trying to come up with a way to attach the Ultimate Dume Kraahkan, because I think it fits the look better. Tell me if I should keep the Kraahkan or switch back to the Pakari.

Double post, but it’s for relevancy. Made a how-to for this guy, but I screwed up on a few things, and so you’ll need to keep an eye out on when the thing getting built gets changed, if that makes any sense…

And this one too! I wanna talk about this MOC as well!

I really like this one. Having also seen it in person, I can say that the torso is a work of art. You seem to have a knack for building torsos. One thing I can say I’m not the most fond of are the arms, as they don’t seem to mesh with the rest of the MOC and even each other. The upper and lower arms are very different styles, and I believe a redesign might help the aesthetic cohesion. The legs, however, look great, and I have no complaints about them.

If you asked me which of the two I liked better, I’d have to go with your V1 variant. However, it’s a close call. I really enjoyed seeing both of these in person. Great work, and keep it up!
