Been 1 year since we did our initial G2 Cancellation video, so I thought it’d be cool if we talked about a few Bionicle projects that have cropped up in that time. We also speculate about the fate of constraction.

This is a momentous occasion, and I feel it warrants a post.
Christian Faber, creator of Bionicle and Rebel Nature has shared our Rebel Nature episode on the Faber Files Facebook page (honestly considering getting the image framed). Merlin P. Mann had also subscribed to us because of the video.
I never thought in my wildest dreams anything like this would happen. I’m over the moon right now!
The next episode (Breath of the Wild) will be done in a similar style to the Rebel Nature episode, so I hope you’ll all enjoy that (still editing it together).

I put too much time into creating each episode.
Yep, we still accept fan art of our avatar characters to implement in the thumbnails. Though we haven’t gotten any recently- which is why the thumbnails from 41 onward look different from the ones prior.

150+ hours sunk… in editing not the game no
Feels good to finally have this done. Took a long time but hope it was worth the wait!
Slurmp unfortunately didn’t finish the thumbnail art in time, so I made a backup
The initial recording for this ep was ~ 2 hours but I still had stuff I wanted to say about the game. So I’mma do it here.
One thing I wanted to see more of were ‘set-piece’ moments, where you were corralled into a linear sequence by the layout of an area. Two of my favourite moments were the encounter with Naydra and the Forgotten Temple. Both of these were so well executed because they melded with the non-linear style of gameplay. With Naydra you could approach the mountain in a multitude of ways, but they all converged to that singular moment. The Forgotten Temple while only having one clearly defined entrance was great because of how it contrasted with the valley you approached it from; something at the end of a pit of emptiness. That Guardian fakeout was superb!
