The comic itself isn’t that mysterious, but what is mysterious is WHERE and HOW did Malum obtain a Cordak Blaster after he was exiled? Was it a souvenir he decided to bring with him after his snorkeling trip to Mahri Nui?

I’m operating under the assumption that it’s meant to be just a generic blaster that the artist drew as a Cordak Blaster for no good reason.

The thing is that “generic blaster” at the time was a thornaxx launcher included in all the sets. It’s strange how the artist went two years back to incorporate the cordak blaster, but I can agree that it could just be a random choice…
