it also looks like the green before but powered-up or something

I saw the Bionicle image on Tumblr. What is going on with Ekimu’ mask? Why does it appear to be trans blue? Anyone got any ideas?
It is so blue that I had to make a refrence to AngryJoe’s Evolve review.
Also, the box art for the beasts seriously remind me of VooDoo heads.

Not sure, but its believed it will stay trans-blue. Its likely a form of power-up or mask draining (probably a power-up given the size increase compared to the last Ekimu)

Maybe it’s a situation similar to the 2003 Takanuva set. That set came with 2 different Avohkii, a regular version (Solid Gold Mold) and an “in-use” version (Transparent White Glittery Mold). Perhaps this Transparent Blue Mold is the Mask of Creation in full use? (Ooooh! Imagine a Mask of Control in Trans Lime or Purple!)
Anyone else notice Ekimu comes with a red and (I’m assuming) black version of Umarak the hunter’s mask?

Going to be honest, waited almost half a day for images to be uploaded and the website that is scheduled to upload them is taking their time. Granted uploading large images probably takes a while but not an hour for about 3-5 images.
Chances are high they wont have uploaded everything by the time i return, but if anything is uploaded that is not already shared, feel free to share it here and will add to main post when back.

The early 2016 Nexo Knights sets were terrible, and the Bionicles were alright.
Now, the new Nexo Knights sets are alright, and the bonkles look terrible.
