When are there going to be more toy fair images? Do we know yet if there are going to be some more toy fair images of bionicle sets being posted sometime today?
We honestly have no clue. Several sites said they would have images however those sites have been slow to upload and generally Bionicle receives less of a focus than many other themes at Toyfair. Like previous years, we could just have a single image and that’ll be it.
Best to wait.
Ok, I think I’m going to list my opinion on these:
(I don’t know most of their names, BTW)
Big beefy dude: While he does look like a good parts pack, the set itself does look cool. I like his point Ninja Turtle Fingers, and the torso also looks pretty huge. I don’t really like the mask, though.
Purple dude: Looks pretty simple. His mask reminds me of a krana, and I really like those tanspurple bone pieces on his arms. I don’t like his two back swords, however, s they kind of stand out.
Blue dude: this set looks meh. While those claws are creative, the set itself doesn’t look appealing.
Red and black fire dude: I actually like him. I really like those flame swords and that head looks really cool.
Ekimu: To be honest, I like Ekimu the most out of all of these. I don’t know why, but he’s the coolest looking out of them. I love his transblue armor, and his hammer that looks like you don’t want to get hit. Out of all of these, he’ll be the one I have to get.

Beefy dude: Umarak.
I like the set’s upper half, but those legs are… eh. They’re really eh. I’ll probably make them bulkier
Purple dude: Quake Beast:
I may just keep him the same… Dunno, his design isn’t that bad. Drill arm is cool
Blue dude: Storm beast:
Needs some elbows. Then I’ll be happy. Oh, and those hands need to be made in the same way my Skull Basher revamp had them
Red and black dude: Lava beast
This thing is sexy… as hell. ba da tss
Anyway, after I fix his legs up a bit, he’s probably my favorite set of this wave.
Ekimu:
Saved by the print. Luckily that fills him out a little better, sorta balancing out the trans blue

It doesn’t look like the beasts’ jaws will have any articulation whatsoever, which is a HUGE downside. I’m loving the trans neon-green(?) heads that the beast heads fit over, though, and we’re getting some solid recolors and parts packs.
Umarak the Destoyer is the only one that I can say with 100% certainty that I’ll end up getting, the rest I’ll hope to get for gifts or something. :b
On the same tangent, UtD’s mask is glorious.

It looks like the lower jaw connects to the where the axle is inserted on the g2 heads, so they might have some form of movement.

Ekimu Is using a Buckler‽
You know I first saw the new BIONICLE sets in the imgur post from a few weeks ago, and I have to say, the printing and blended pieces really bring these sets together. Sure the Beasts still have the most spindly legs ever, but they really do look like intimidating monsters.
I especially like Storm Beast; their colors go great together, they have a nice symmetric design with the Shadow-trap tail, and their proportions seem to work the best of the beasts (It’s probably the lack of horns and boxy shoulders that make me say that).
Ekimu i solid, and made of glass, I like how he uses the new armor as a hammer head. Again props for the buckler even if he’s just reusing last year’s shield. I don’t know how to feel about the Trans MoCr, I would probably like a Trans-Light Blue Gold meld more (with the crown in Trans and the face-plate in Gold). Anybody else thing Umarak’s old Mask is the broken MoUP?
Umarak is Powerful and intimidating! I like the use of the XL Chest and the rib-cage hands (I can’t wait to see the grabby hand function). His stance is pretty wide, and probably stable, but them leg could use some bulking. I really wish Umarak still had the Trans-Bright Green rather than Trans-Neon Green, but I guess it’s just the color of evil and control. One last thing about Shadow Hunter 2: Teh D3st0yer I wish they would include a Trans-Neon Green MoCo to match/be twinsies with Ekimu’s; even if there is no way to put a mask on the new head.
Totally going to get a trans purple MoCo next year; calling it now.
Quake Beast is pretty cool, the asymmetry works on them, and even though most of the parts aren’t new I like them. They’re purple.
It’s not that I hate Lava Beast,
they’re just the set I like the least.
There’s snows on Mount Fuji.
Summer Wave: Trans-Neon Green/10
It sort of moves and sort of doesn’t.
The beast’s heads are the 2015 ones colored trans lime, and the mouths connect by the axle hole. This makes it very loose.
When I say it won’t have articulation, I mean it can’t be posed. Yes, it’s loose and can probably be moved up and down, but it doesn’t appear that it can stay in any position you put it in. Instead, it will always just flop down.
Lava Beast has the gappiest gap to have ever gapped the gap
