That’s actually a pretty sick trick, maybe I should buy a few Bohrok cans…

That’s a pretty good lot right there, all those cans, the purple Slizer (is it Electro or Spark?), if it was in the states I’d buy it in an instant…

Yeah, I’ve been considering it!

These are all photos from the listing. They want 85€ for everything, which seems like a decent deal (considering that the boxes are quite deep, there’s more stuff that isn’t visible).

Kalmah? You sure about that?

Remember Sector 01, that little bug Mata Nui befriended?

They probably googled for the set and saw this result…

…then legitimately believed it’s called Sector01

Come to think about it, that name doesn’t even seem too far off if you have no idea about Bionicle. bug = insect = sector.

My favorite part was when he hopped on Mata Nui’s head with a machine gun in each hand and shouted “Sector01 reporting for combat duty sir” and just unloaded both magazines into the air while he screamed

guys that was his name what are you talking about :imp:

Kiina: Let me guess, you call him Sector01?

Mata Nui: I like it. “Sector01” it is!

Found something legitimately cool today.

It’s that big store display Pakari we’ve all seen before! 500€ is way too much even for how rare it is, but it’s still cool to see it show up for sale.

Have you ever wanted the Racers Dirt Crusher RC? How about twelve of them??? This could be your chance to own more Dirt Crushers than any sane person ever would! And all for the low, low price of just £2000 :P

That’s neat, except for the price! I wonder how any person even acquires so many copies in the first place…

I recall seeing a Brickshelf folder of some Lego tour event that happened in 2004, I believe there was a photo of a little dirt track with many of these Racers C&C cars on it. Maybe someone was allowed to take them home after such an event? I’ll see if I can find the folder again.

Edit: after almost half an hour of consecutive Brickshelf browsing I still didn’t find it… Tried all possible keywords but had no success. If I ever see it again in the future, I’ll come back to this.

I did however find this silly image of Kikanalo riding a Dirt Crusher, I guess that’s something…?

Awhile back I found Tahus sword at a garage sale, topically you don’t see bionicle stuff at garage sales and especially not the foam weapons so I was shocked to see it.

Listings like these are rare, but when they show up, they really confuse me. How does it happen that you’re selling a mostly original set but just three parts have been replaced with bootlegs? The dual color Rhotuka comes from Umbra, which is also weird considering there’s no other trace of him in the seller’s listings.

The dual colour Rhotuka also came in the blind boxes, and is supposed to go with Matau so I don’t think that’s too weird

But the bootleg parts are very bizarre

The leg armour is also the wrong colour

Randomly came across a Russian online listing featuring photos of bootleg Vezok doing this exact pose in a variety of places and angles. No idea why but they’re weirdly funny to me.

Something about this photo makes vezok look like he’s 3 feet tall

I suppose if you ever wanted to own Matoran form Makuta and every variation of the Kraahkan, plus 6 shadow kraata on the side, this would be the way to do it. But that price, ouch!

Despite this being Makuta it’s really funny to me seeing a T-posing matoran showing off his mask collection.
