There’s a lot of reasons… First, the Ninjago magazine is weird. Second, it’s translated from German. Third, it’s produced by a non-LEGO company (Blue Ocean) on behalf of LEGO. Fourth, “savior” as a word is fitting for Lloyd’s role in the show, given that he is a person who saved his home from something and was given praise for it (although not from the fans, given the reception to Crystallized); “savior” does, after all, have a prominent non-religious definition.
Finally, it was Ghid who made the joke, not LEGO. The magazine just said that “LLOYD IS THE SAVIOUR”, a reference to how, in that year of the story (2022), it was his job to defeat the Crystal King and save Ninjago.

I think RedPandalorian’s point is still valid; the magazine being made by a third party and translated from German aren’t exactly legitimate reasons for the company to tolerate toeing the line like that. The joke entirely wrote itself here.
