I like the designs for these, they remind me of toa hagah
finally, that 2x4 torso finally exists in physical perfection
Where? All I see is a pic of a grey couch?
But seriously, it’s so cool to see it in physical form.
I see the Makuta of Compost has returned.
Neat! I like the skinny guy in the first picture. He looks quite different from your usual characters.
Oh yeah I don’t suppose I’ve shown Miasma, Malaise, or their dark master Dr. Marridium here have I
Wanna hear the lore?
Nice! That’s a good map. Well-detailed.
Thank you both!
it’s been too long
These guys look great, I like the contrast between the shadowy guys and the glowing bits on the Rukah MOC at the bottom.
Perhaps
Thank you!
Those shadowy guys are known as the Vacants, the shapeshifting boogeymen of Irusian lore.
Do they inhabit the vacant cities?
Oh no, they are said to haunt the Necrowood, a place far worse.
Lore
The Necrowood is an ominous and shadowy forest of dead trees which is regarded as a place of ill omen by the Irusians. To them, it is considered bad luck to venture inside or take any local timber. Needless to say, Makuta Xianos highly favors this dark site, having used its isolation and eerie nature to train his Irusian lieutenants. The Necrowood’s ancient name is “Xraakhnor”, which roughly translates to “Place of Dread”.
Other statistics:
- Young Irusian warriors often peer pressure each other to venture into the forest, but they rarely do so. Those who are known to step in don’t step out again.
- Xianos himself is aware of the stigma surrounding the Necrowood, and actively keeps up the rumors with his shapeshifting and illusion abilities.
- Xianos has also placed advanced sensors in the area that allow him to detect if anyone enters.
- This is due to the fact that the Makuta’s underground base is located in the neighboring Black Diamond Mountains, with one of its (hidden) entrances located deep within the heart of the forest.
