he gets out fully changed in his suit.
Beth finishes a chapter and puts away her book.
“shall we?”
There was a note that was slid under the door of the apartment with Oliver’s name of it.
“Of course dear.” Beth says as she gets up.
he reads it.
he offers his arm
She takes it, and stays close to him.
‘If you wanna see him again, meet me outside the city on the nearby clifftop. There’ll be ashes leading you to us like bread crumbs.’
he leads her outside.
oliver heads there quickly
“Where are we going?” She asks curious
There was a path along the cliff covered with white ashes.
“a restaurant.”
oliver runs the path.
“No wonder your dressed up, I should have worms something nicer.” Beth remarks
The cliff was getting smaller and smaller the higher he got.
“naw, i like dress like this.”
oliver continues to run
“Well you look handsome.”
When he gets to the top, he sees Ash just standing there, facing him. His heels were right on the edge of the cliff.
“thanks.”
“ash what are you doing?”
“Your welcome.”
Ash didn’t look him in the eye when he said, “You know how I told you about how I escaped . . . how there was this giant conflict and . . . and some people died so we could run away?”
