“Brainwashing? That’s not at all what I meant,” Kota says.
Soshi “Well. You seem to be pretty hesitant. I can tell.”

Rai follows, searching through and organizing his satchel
“The village, to see Toko.” Paul says, as he says the last part his fist tightens
“What I’ve been through is far worse, trust me,” Kota says. So, should I? . . . No, not really. It’s fine if Toko knows, but I fear for the rest of them.
Onyx walks back to where they were staying. “We need a garden …”
He mutters
Soshi “Torture? Physical and emotional abuse? I am pretty familiar with people doing that.”
“Familiar in what sense?” Kota asks, tensing up.
Soshi sighs and closes her eyes “I know people who do that. Hebi does too.”
Hebi “Please don’t bring me into this.”
Soshi “I am gathering info from in the Fang so… Ya…”
“It’s vastly different than that,” Kota says, “Also, when you say ‘gathering info from the Fang’, do you mean colluding with them or spying on them?” He starts to get increasingly on edge.
“I can possibly help with that…”

Soshi “Spying from within. I haven’t killed anyone yet.”
Hebi I shouldn’t say anything.
Onyx nods as he starts to rub rust off some tools.
“I’m going to lose Toko again.” Paul says quietly,
“Are you masking as one of them or are you actually a part of their operation? Also, why do you need info from them in the first place?” Kota’s heart started to beat faster. This is way out of the league of a huntsmen’s occupation. This is some covert operation. I feel like that’s somehow less safe.
