Kota, having killed every Grimm in the village, walks up to a stone in the middle of the ruins of the main chamber of the building. The stone had a picture:
Kota observed it and whispered, “Avanyu”. The walls of the ruins had similar symbols and Kota started to be afraid. He had faced this monster before, and he had yet to kill it. It wasn’t because it was strong, but because Kota always left instead of finishing it off. He always had a bad feeling killing it, as if he shouldn’t, even though it seemed like a new type of Grimm. He always thinks it’s the only one of its type.
OOC: Well, I read the wiki page on Vale, so take it with a grain of salt. Also, the whole “Not trusting Atlas” thing and how Grimm are attracted to the dragon.
OOC: Strange that Ike’s visit was so calm, but that’s none of my business, being in Vacuo.
The creature appears behind him, but doesn’t attack. Kota faces it and, markings glowing red, says, “You can’t catch a break, can you?”
The beast lets out a deep, prolonged growl. It looked like a Grimm, but some of it looked like it was melting.
“I’ll try to fix it soon. I just need to know how.” Kota flees the village, making sure the Grimm just outside are taken care of. The beast retreats into a cave inside the cliff past the ruins, disappointed.
Xander wakes up in his small one room cabin in the woods of vale. The fire place lit and his sword in sheath on the mantle of the fire place. He walks over to his mirror to see his hair is now black and his clothes some what newer.
Selanna wakes up in a bar sitting at the counter with a glass in her hand did i pass out again?
OOC sooo like do they have their memories or nah or is it just the magic they don’t remember.
Kota checks a sign that says “Warning: Grimm Territory”. At least the sign is still up. I need a sweat bath, I’ve probably gotten more Grimm residue from absorbing so much mist. He makes his way to Lomaki, which was near Wupatki anyways, so he could clean himself with the help of Lomaki’s Medicine Man. He shifts into a coyote and runs.
As Kota runs, he thinks, How is it that only one of the Menagerie Ali Sonak villages was destroyed while three, three of the Vacuan villages were destroyed. No offense, but I’m surprised the Ali Sonak had villages in Menagerie at all. We thrived by the rivers, I didn’t imagine we’d find much in Menagerie’s desert.
