This is my first MOC so I thought it might as well be a self-moc.
This is Korahnu, Mater of Iron.
I was always a fan of the Fe-matoran and the pakari in orange so I decided to base my self moc around the mask and colour scheme.

Ive not got any back story yet but I like to think ill work him into the Okoto region some how.

Pluralā€™s Quick Review:

  • Color Scheme is Consistent
  • Kind of a Bulk-Master
  • Has a pretty hefty Backpack
  • Color Distribution is Meh
  • Back of feet are kind of gappy

I would give this MOC an overall rating of an 8/10.

Hey, thanks for quick replys.
@SwagMeister I couldnā€™t source size 5 armour in orange so I had to use blackon the arms :frowning:
@Plural They are spurs at the back, theyre attached with rubber 2-by lift arms and I couldnā€™get round the gappy-ness. Also his head is built right into his torso, so his backpack is actually his body :smiley:

Nice! You donā€™t see too many Fe-matoran around these days.

The build seems fairly solid, and I like the ā€˜harnessā€™ look achieved with the orange parts on the torso. The colour distribution is fairly good, although the arms could do with a bit of orange. The elbows seem a bit thin, and the technic look of the lower arms doesnā€™t really match anything except the feet. Which brings me to the spurs on the back of the feet. I love them. Weapons are fairly basic, but they still look nice.The upper chest printing seems to break up the colour scheme. I would like to congratulate you in particular of your avoidance of red and blue pins! (at least as far as I can see)

Iā€™d give this about a 7/10. Great Job!

Sadly, I donā€™t find this MOC worthy of my catchphrase of, ā€œThe Bulk!ā€.
