I think the mask situation is a little bizarre. His mask allows him to absorb mask powers, But when he tried to absorb the Ignikas power it broke and became stuck as what is bascially a second mask of life, but so he started mask new masks to hold the powers he wanted for a short period of time.

So, if he was now just masking masks to hold powers, why doesn’t he just make new masks that last forever?

The duplicate masks he makes are all the same in appearance by default, they only vary in power level. However, when a duplicate mask comes into contact with another mask, He can use his Corrupted Kanohi Mengu to transfer the masks ability (only then does the duplicate mask’s appearance change).

So I guess its easier to make duplicate masks that are pretty much vessels, than to construct new masks with new powers.

Uhm, I believe Takanuva changed his armor color from gold to silver, as to make himself less noticed in the battle of Bara magna.

nope, that was caused by him being attacked by a shadow leech which left him with control over both light and shadow.
which is why he was gunmetal and white in 08.
from what I remember.

huh, alright then, I was wrong.
I don’t remember that plot point, but oh well.
it’s clearly just a plot excuse for why the stars set looks like his 08 version.

Incredible MOC! This MOC is extremely nice looking and has great colors. Just my taste. It’s also very inspiring for someone like me, who’s trying to build a good Light Elemental Self MOC.
