I Agree with @ELE109 but If you open them at least take pictures of when you open them to document their contest since bionicle sets usually comes with more than just the set and instructions

Rather than sell them, why not trade them? I bet you could get some good trades going

I’d say keep closed. Maybe if some boxes/canisters are in bad condition, open those. If they’ve been kept for you all this time closed and in good condition, I wouldn’t want to ruin that condition. Plus, the sets you exampled don’t go for too much on Ebay loose but complete, so if you really wanted to use the set but also want to keep them closed, maybe you could just buy an open one second hand. But either way you have them. In one condition or another.
