Star Wars: Lockdown gameplay topic

He’d walk out the door to find not the typical stormtrooper teams on patrol, but bounty hunters and purge troopers questioning people

(As Adam) “Transport one you may depart” Adam said through his Comlink. The ship’s boarding ramp retracted and lifted with a hiss of steam. The transport lifted off the hangar floor and the wings moved into position as the ship departed the hangar to the planet.

(As rebel leaders) “I have selected you to assist your friend Ygdras onto the planet Fondor’s surface where our informant Chimm is locked down. Your job is to go in undercover as bounty hunters with the goal of rescuing the spy,” the Twi-Lek explained. “You will take a squad of our top fighters as well. I’m assigning you and Ygdras to lead the team, cooperatively”

Kay smiled at the mention of Chimm and Ygdras’ names.
“Cooperation won’t be a problem, ma’am.” She said.

ooc:
WHere should I put my stormtrooper?

Iont smiled at the apparent happiness on the Jedi’s face. “Good luck. May the force be with you all”

OOC: on the boarding group. Also the Twi-Lek is male haha.

Kay nodded and headed towards the hangar bay with the fighters.
ooc: oops my bad :stuck_out_tongue:

TK-3516 fiddled with the stock of his E-11 blaster rifle. He looked around at the fellow Imperial troops, sent down to catch the Jedi that had somehow escaped order 66.
The Imperial Splicer shuddered, glad he wasn’t part of that whole ordeal.

Ygdras eventually dragged R3-D20 to the hanger, the astromech was hatless. “Hey, Kay.” He said with a smile.

He was wearing some old gear of his, from when he was a mercenary in the days before he joined the Rebellion. He had a set of mismatched armor from many different worlds that came from those he, unfortunately, had to bring in cold to collect a bounty on.

The group one craft landed with a jolt, and with a hiss the ramp lowered to let the group out. Whether there for thrills, following orders, money, or fame, they were all there, and out for themselves.

Juliana moved as quickly as she could out of the craft, and into a nearby alley. She hated inquisitors. They always made her nervous.

Kay smiled.
“It’s good to work together again.” She replied, patting R3’s dome. [quote=“EmperorDuckie, post:26, topic:51839, full:true”]

TK-3516 calmly stepped out of the landing craft, watching Juliana dart into an alleyway.
“Hey!”
He jogged after her, drawing his pistol. “Where do you think you’re going, we’ve got a Jedi to hunt!”

“Let’s split up, we’ll have a better chance of finding them that way. You two, with me.”
He motions for two of the assembled Purge Troopers to follow him.

Juliana turned around startled

"Oh, um ah… " she said, fumbling for her words, “just um ah, getting out of the way of the Inquisitor! I don’t want to bother him! I-I’ll follow up behind!”

Ygdras smiles and nods but seems worried, he tries to reach out through the Force to try and gauge what awaits them on Fondor.

R3 doesn’t respond, he was obviously turned off by Ygdras earlier and hadn’t served his sentence yet.

He’d feel dark outnumbering light, from the two inquisitors and one Jedi. He may feel urgency to depart quickly, as his friend could be killed or captured at any minute
(As Chimm)
Chimm looked on as a group of stormtroopers left behind from before the lockdown pushed around a shop owner they suspected of knowing the Jedi’s whereabouts. He felt guilty for causing this, and with his hood to conceal his identity, he leaped into action, using the weight of one trooper to flip him over, then kicking another. One had his blaster aimed at him, but Chimm was able to cause it to misfire and knock the imperial soldier back. He grabbed a pistol off of one of the unconscious soldiers and holstered it. This would be useful. He then left the scene, leaping back to the rooftops

Under his helmet, TK-3516 raised an eyebrow.
“…Uh huh. We can split off of the main group, you know. Just let the Inquisitors know.”[quote=“BlackBeltGamer98, post:31, topic:51839, full:true”]

Kay looked around for the fighter pilots that would be joining them.

“I-I didn’t want to bother them… I mean, I was just going to let them get past and then follow right behind. I mean, you guys are soldiers! I’m not!”

OOC the inquisitors aren’t necessary leading the group. It’s kind of meant to be a competition with optional teamups

She’d find the team waiting for her and Ygdras by a freighter, packing weapons, explosives and other equipment
OOC: Not pilots, ground soldiers.

Tk-3516 sighed.
“We have an entire city to cover, lady. We’re all specialists, or at least I’m assuming most of us are.” The splicer holstered his pistol. “Splitting up’s the best thing we can do. If we stick together, we cover less ground and increase the chance of the Jedi getting away.”
He looked up at the sky.“We need to watch for rebel forces as well. I’ll go tell the inquisitors that we’re splitting off.” He turned and walked towards the Inquisitors and Purge troopers.

TK-3516 approached the THird Brother. “Sir, permission to split off and search the city apart from the main force?”[quote=“EmperorDuckie, post:35, topic:51839”]

Kay approached them. “Everything set?”
ooc: whoops, my bad.

One, with a rough (OOC: British with a bit of Australian) accent would reply; “Yep, just waiting for you and horn head”

Kay raised an eyebrow, suppressing a smile.
“Alright, then. I’m ready to roll.”

Ygdras looked more worried than before, “Inquisitors and Purge Troopers have been sent to find Chimm.” He told Kay quietly, “We need to get this done ASAP.”

Kay’s smile faded.
“Purge troopers, I can deal with… but the Inquisitors can sense that we’re force users.” She replied in a hushed tone.
She turned to the ground troops.
“Alright, let’s get this going.”
