Finished reading through Secret Identity and I really love it.
It’s only 4 issues, but it’s such a good read. A kid named Clark Kent spends his life getting teased for having the same name as a comic book character, but one day he realizes that he has some very familiar abilities.
It feels like how For Better or for Worse makes me feel, you just get to watch a life go by and feel special for being able to see it

Kurt Busiek has written a spiritual sequel to Secret Identity called Creature of the Night, exploring a similar concept using Batman.

Busiek’s “MARVELS” evokes the same feeling but for American culture itself rather than just one person’s life. Another comic in this vein you will probably enjoy is Spider-Man: Life Story.
