I finally got around to making version 2 of this guy, and I think I’ve made some real improvments over the last version.
All the background explaination nonsense
First off, I’ve given him much better color-blocking (inspired by the toa mata); with the legs and arms being mostly dark green, and the hands, feet, torso, and head being more teal (as opposed to the mostly teal front, mostly dark green back of the last version).
Secondly, I made some changes to the overall shaping, and went for a hopefully thinner build, with the lower legs widening out a bit towards the feet.
And lastly, I just tried making him a wee bit cooler looking.
He now has a fairly simple sword as a secondary weapon.
