Not accurate to an original Observatory since they open sideway, you can flip the sphere to reveal the scope and turn the head with the gear arm.
The scope need to be pulled out to extend.

I will admit it doesn’t look like a architecture at first glance and look like a deformed Darlek, but I hope you understand what it’s suppose to represent.

I still can’t figure out what program you use to make the LDD files look that good

Hear, hear!

It’s not LDD - they don’t have the Mahri armor available as a part on that program. It’s most likely Stud.io by Bricklink. You can get it here: Studio Download [BrickLink]

@Square Could you fix the font size in the descriptions? It’s tiny!

(Edited for Stud.io referring and concerns over font size.)

You mean this piece?:

This was produce during 2006 Toa Inika sets.

I’ve used LDD to build and render using POV-Ray.

Thanks! That’s extremely helpful!

This reminds me of Myst and I really like the look of it.

Ah, I see. My mistake, I associated it with the Mahri because that’s where I got mine. (RIP Matoro)

Myst was a great game series

This is fantastic.
