This has got to be one of the cutest Lego sets ever. I bought it for the parts, but now I don’t even want to disassemble it anymore… Such a derpy and adorable creature.
This is my first time having paper bags, pretty cool to see those after being announced like 5 years ago? The B and C model instructions are made of thinner matte paper too, only the main booklet has the usual glossy finish.
That set’s great! I was given two last year, for whatever reason, and it was a really fun challenge to try and combine them both into one bigger dragon.
…A custom of Strike from the recent Ninjago: Strike of the Serpentine graphic novel, made from Pythor, Chop’rai, and the scarf of an elven bard. Pythor got a bit of the short end of the stick, since Strike stole his torso and tail, leaving him with Chop’rai’s.
I’m happy to finally have Nokama’s figure, even if she is practically a statue, since she’s one of my favorite Bionicle characters. Gravis was just a nice bonus–I’ve got no particular attachment to him, but it’s nice to flesh out my Elemental Master collection.
What do you think of the set? I’ve heard good things about it.
That tuxedo cat looks slightly affronted (perhaps at some unknown slight?). The orange cat, though, just looks adorably surprised (or curious, I suppose).
