Just got a bunch of F1 hot wheels and a hot wheels Wheeljack!
Really love the Lancia Stratos, the fact that it’s also one of the best G1 alt-modes makes it even better.

I really feel like I should draw a line with my spendings somewhere. Transformers are expensive, so I told myself I wouldn’t get into that.

A Bricklink order arrived at last, carrying with it something I have been hoping to get for a long time!
It was PIXAL from the Build-A-Minfigure station! My nearby LEGO store ran out of PIXAL heads day 1, so I’m really glad I was finally able to get one. I also got a Batman figure for his cape (see below), and a bunch of random parts to make some kind of mutant Serpentine or something.
As mentioned above, I got Batman’s cape. What I did not mention was that I got it for my Loyalist Leader minifigure, as she had such a cape in the show… but not in the sets. I also got a cape for my Susan minifigure from The LEGO Movie 2, as I lost that cape pretty fast originally. Neither the Loyalist Leader nor the Susan figure were included in my order.

Never knew she was in such high demand, I picked her up like a month after she came out. Then again, I don’t live in a very dense area these days.

The weird thing is, the only parts that were sold out were her head and Dareth’s pants… neither of which are exclusive by any means. So, my brother and I were able to get six of them day one (with him replacing Dareth’s pants later). When we returned last month to check if they had restocked, they hadn’t, and PIXAL’s hair was gone too (that was when I decided to buy her online).

It’s gorgeous, definitely my favourite of the dragons I’ve acquired so far. So long and so impressive, medium blue is such an underused colour and it makes this guy stand out that much more
The original dragons are nowhere near as refined or organic as today’s ones but they’re still so wonderful, they feel like paintings come to life
