New from Bionicle: Vezon’s got the legs, but Fenrakk’s got no teeth - and they are hungry for Bricklink.

Amazing how that voice has a shortcut programmed into me

Got this stuff yesterday. Turns out GameStop still had some leftover Nintendo Christmas promotion items, so I got the pins for free.

Also I used my points on my Switch to get Lego Marvel Superheroes to play with my brother.

Those are some rad pins, Toad is probably my favorite. The mushroom hat feels very natural in an artificial sort of way.

In my recent pick a brick order. I bought some nougat. But something happened where the colors where mixed in with someone else, and ended up making a new color all together.
Lego sent a letter going like this. Dear builder, we had an accident in our factory that ended up creating these parts. Instead of recycling/destroying, these parts. We Decide. Keep them as a part of your order. We hopeto see how you use them in your next build. We hopeyouenjoy They have a weird Orange tent to it.

They where ment to be a lighter flesh color like the parts on the bottom.

I’ve also tried to see if they match any other lego brown. And I can say they don’t
I also took comparisons next to this piece, and it’s a lot brighter then the other.

Interesting. Have they sent misprints before?

You can buy misprint parts on pick a brick. But you have to be fast. This is the first time for me.

Looks like a Werther’s Original

Would you mind sharing the letter (with any personal information digitally redacted ofc)? This is a totally unheard of circumstance afaik

I’ll have to pull it out of my Documents, it’s probably take a little while. I think I have the order too, here it is.

They are listed as the same color as well.

@Droconis Did you uses Bricklink’s color guide?

My very first Bricklink order just came in! Got a bunch of parts I was missing on sets, and some general stuff that I always run out of when building MOCs.

Yes, they aren’t listed. The parts I got.

From the pictures you sent, it looks like some special bricks I got from Legoland California. They were a special mix of yellow and red that the manager of the machine made herself… which leads me to my question - how well does this compare to Dark Orange? If your misprints are just a few shades lighter than Dark Orange, chances are the “formula” for this is yellow and red in some kind of mixture.

That’s cool. I didn’t know that. The dark orange is much darker compared to the parts.

I’ve heard of this when it comes to the various colors of Darth Vader helmets on EBay. Apparently the mold testers get to keep whatever parts they make during tests.

Scratch out my theory, your parts are much more pink than mine. Maybe yours are bits of pink and red, instead of yellow and red?

“NINJAGO And Friends” I’m fascinated, is this the TV show or some kind of special with the mini-doll line?

Nah. Despite the odd title, all it has are the pilot episodes of Ninjago
